Kamagra in the UK: the law, the risks and what to buy instead
Thousands of British men search for Kamagra every month. Almost nobody explains what it actually is, why every UK site selling it is breaking the law, or what you can legally buy today. This page does.

Identification reference onlyWhat is Kamagra?
Kamagra is a brand of sildenafil citrate made by Ajanta Pharma in India, sold as tablets and as oral jelly sachets. Sildenafil is the same active ingredient as Viagra. It works on blood flow, and in the UK it is classed as a prescription-only medicine.
Kamagra itself holds no UK licence. It was never assessed or approved for sale in Britain by the MHRA, which means no UK regulator has checked the factory, the dose or the packaging that arrives at your door.
Is Kamagra legal in the UK?
Buying or selling Kamagra in the UK without a prescription is illegal. Selling a prescription-only medicine without a pharmacy licence is a criminal offence under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and the MHRA prosecutes sellers — including by placing test orders on websites.
Possessing a small amount for personal use is not normally prosecuted, but importing it is: Border Force routinely seizes Kamagra parcels, and you lose your money with no refund and no recourse.
If you want sildenafil legally, it is genuinely easy now. Viagra Connect is sold over the counter at UK pharmacies after a short conversation with the pharmacist, and generic sildenafil is available on prescription from any registered UK online pharmacy.
Why unlicensed Kamagra is risky
The dose is not guaranteed
MHRA testing of seized erectile-dysfunction products has repeatedly found doses far above or below what the packet claims, including sachets with almost no active ingredient at all.
Contaminants have been found
Seized counterfeit sildenafil products have contained printer ink, plaster, amphetamines and other undeclared substances.
No safety check for you
Sildenafil is dangerous with nitrates and some blood pressure medicines, and is unsuitable for certain heart conditions. A pharmacist consultation exists to catch that. A website taking your card details does not.
No comeback
There is no refund, no MHRA yellow card route through the seller, and no accountable UK business if something goes wrong.
What MenCore sells instead
We are not a pharmacy and we do not sell sildenafil, Kamagra or any prescription medicine. What we sell is a UK herbal food supplement: MenCore Blue Vitality Tablets, with panax ginseng 250mg, ginger root 200mg, L-arginine 100mg, maca root 100mg, cayenne 50mg, zinc gluconate 25mg and cinnamon bark 10mg per tablet.
Every amount is printed on the label rather than buried in a 'proprietary blend'. It is a food supplement, not a medicine, and it is not licensed to treat erectile dysfunction — we will never pretend otherwise. What it is: legal, discreet, fully labelled, and delivered in plain packaging from the UK.
Your three legal routes, side by side
Pharmacy — Viagra Connect
Over the counter at UK pharmacies after a short consultation. A licensed medicine, checked against your health and other medication.
Online prescriber — generic sildenafil
A registered UK online pharmacy with a prescriber. Cheaper than branded Viagra and fully legal.
Food supplement — MenCore Blue Vitality
No prescription, no consultation, £7.99 for 10 tablets or £13.99 for 20. A herbal supplement taken as part of looking after yourself, not a medicine.
Common questions
Can I buy Kamagra in the UK?
Not legally. Any UK-facing website selling Kamagra without a prescription is operating illegally, and the MHRA actively shuts such sites down. Registered UK pharmacies sell licensed sildenafil instead.
Is Kamagra the same as Viagra?
Both contain sildenafil citrate, but Viagra is licensed and quality-assured for the UK market and Kamagra is not. With Kamagra there is no guarantee that the contents match the label.
Does MenCore sell Kamagra oral jelly?
No. We do not sell Kamagra, sildenafil or any prescription-only medicine, and we never will. We sell legal herbal food supplements for men.
What is the closest legal thing I can buy today without a prescription?
Either Viagra Connect from a pharmacy counter, or a herbal food supplement such as MenCore Blue Vitality Tablets, which you can order here and have delivered in plain packaging.
